The Sprouts Program for kids continues this week! Children between 4-12 will receive a $2 token every week to spend with our fruit and vegetable vendors. This week, our Sprouts recipe is Fairy Dust Pancakes, sponsored by Currents Vetrinary Centre. You can pick up your copy of the recipe at the Sprouts table when you check in! This week, the bouncy castle will be back for your kids' jumping pleasure and No Excuses will be leading a family Zumba class between 6:00 and 6:45 (weather permitting). Both are a great drop-in activity for those little ones who need to burn off some energy!
The Heritage Point Community League will be in the community tent this week, providing information about the fun programs available in our community and selling community league memberships. Be sure to say hello and learn more about the programs available.
Servus Credit Union, an ongoing sponsor of the Southwest Edmonton Farmers’ Market will be on site this week. They will have their ‘Monster Head Knockdown’ challenge back for another round! Take a shot and try to knock down these terrifying and troublesome monsters. If you defeat a monster, you will WIN a prize! On top of all the fun, there will be an entry box prize for a family package you do not want to miss out on! Dr. Bob Turner, our newly-elected MLA, will be at market this week as part of K-Days celebrations. He will be answering questions from constituents and handing out free gelato made by Cravings Gelato! Stop by his tent by the information tent for a friendly meet and greet, and to ask him what his favourite farmers' market vegetable is!
AIG Produce will be bringing their Fresh Titan red cherries and Rainer Cherries from their orchards in Osoyoos B.C. to market, along with fresh berries from the Fraser Valley.
Red Apple B.C. Fruit will be bringing the expected blueberries, blackberries, apricots, cherries, and Pink Lady Apples, as well as yellow plums and this year’s amazing Red Haven Peaches! Also new this week are nectarines!!
Steve and Dan's Fresh B.C. Fruit will be bringing new blueberries, tay berries, logan berries, fresh cherries and strawberries, along with winter apples and pears and their sparkling apple juice.
Riverbend Gardens will be back at market this week with new potatoes, peas, fresh carrots, beets and dill!
Sunworks Farm, a certified organic and certified humane farm, will have their fresh chicken – wholes and all cuts along with their beef and pork cuts. They will also have their wide variety of sausages (gluten, filler and chemical free) with a market special of purchase 9 get the 10th package free. All meats are raised and processed on Sunworks' farm.
European Cakes will be at SWEFM this week, bringing her fun macarons, cannoli and croissants.

Sweet Stuff will be selling s'more cupcakes for the next few weeks: chocolate cupcakes with vanilla icing, marshmallows, a graham cracker piece and chocolate ganache drizzle!
Sweet Molodih Madness will have a variety of gourmet cupcakes. This week there will be a Biscotti Style Cupcake with matcha frosting, a Cookies and Creme Cupcake, and a Chocolate Chip Cupcake. Each made with its own "special ingredient". Sample some cupcakes and figure out which one has spinach, zucchini or cauliflower. There will also be Chocolate Cherry Chunk Scones, Raspberry Cream Cheese Scones and a variety of salty soft pretzels.
Grace's Asian Food will be at SWEFM this week with handmade sushi rolls, korean food and other treats.
