Fresh Sheet: July 22, 2015

Fresh Sheet, Fresh Eats!
Join us WEDNESDAY in the Terwillegar Recreation Center Parking Lot from 4:00-7:30

Mid-market season is the best time for the freshest of the fresh, with this year's crops of potatoes, apples, cherries, nectarines, carrots, beets, and more coming from the fields and orchards for you to enjoy. Our market is a great place to load up on the season's best and have quick chats with the farmers to learn just how fresh your markets eats are. Don't be surprised if your carrots are only a day out of the ground or your cherries were trucked in from B.C. this morning; our fruit and vegetable vendors work hard to make sure only the freshest food comes to market and lands on your plate!

Join us here on the "Market Fresh Sheet" every Tuesday to see what's fresh and happening at your favourite farmers' market! For market shopping tips, be sure to check out this page to ensure your market visit is everything it should be. And remember, please leave Fido at home- no dogs are allowed where food is being served!
