Fresh Sheet: July 30, 2014

Your path to healthy eating starts at market!
Join us WEDNESDAY in the Terwillegar Recreation Center Parking Lot from 4:30-7:30

With (literally) tons of fresh produce piled on the vendors' tables and nutrition guides on-site to help you shop for healthy options, market is a great place to begin your journey to eating well. Whether you're looking for vegan, gluten-free, or plain ol' healthy choices, SWEFM is fully stocked! There are also plenty of vendors who can fulfill that need for a weekly treat, because after all, a healthy lifestyle is all about balance!

For market shopping tips, be sure to check out this page to ensure your market visit is everything it should be. And remember, please leave Fido at home- no dogs are allowed where food is being served!

Stop by the info tent to vote on this week's ingredient challenge: Berry Bonanza! Our vendors have done their best to come up with berry-themed items to win your votes, so be sure to drop in and have your voice be heard. Every vote counts as an entry to win a prize from the winning vendor!

Our volunteers will also be loaded with nutrition tip sheets that are all about berries to help you with your shopping and teach you more about the benefits of everyone's favourite nature candy! If you'd like more nutritional information, be sure to go on a health tour with  our nutrition guide. She can walk you through the market, talk to you about your dietary goals, and help you shop for items that will help you reach those goals.

As your favourite community market, we do our best to connect you to your neighbours!
